This policy explains what personal data Praxium Performance collects, why, and what rights you have over it. It applies to praxiumperformance.com and to anyone who books a call, signs up for emails, or becomes a coaching client.
Praxium Performance is a sole-trader online coaching business. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Praxium Performance is the "data controller" responsible for your personal data.
If you have any question about this policy or how your data is handled, contact: coachsolofit@gmail.com
We only collect what's needed to run the coaching business and communicate with you. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:
| Category | Examples | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Contact & booking details | Name, email address, and the details of any call you book | Directly from you, via our Calendly booking widget |
| Newsletter details | Email address, and which emails you open or click | Directly from you, via our Kit signup form |
| Coaching & programme data | Training history, goals, workout logs, progress, body-composition data, and video you send for technique review | Directly from you, via our Trainerize coaching platform |
| Health information | Injury history, medical conditions, or physical limitations relevant to safe programming | Directly from you, as part of coaching intake and ongoing check-ins |
| Communications | Messages you send us by email or through Trainerize | Directly from you |
| Website usage data | General visit data such as pages viewed (if analytics are enabled — see Section 7, Cookies) | Automatically, if and when analytics tools are active |
Because coaching involves writing safe, individual training programmes, we sometimes collect information about injuries, medical conditions, or physical limitations. Under UK GDPR this is treated as "special category data" and requires an extra layer of protection.
| Purpose | Legal basis under UK GDPR |
|---|---|
| Responding to a booking request / discovery call | Steps taken at your request before entering a contract |
| Delivering 1:1 coaching (programming, reviews, messaging) | Performance of a contract with you |
| Processing health/injury information | Your explicit consent |
| Sending newsletter emails with training tips | Your consent (given when you sign up) |
| Keeping basic business records (e.g. for accounting) | Legal obligation / legitimate interest |
| Improving the website (if analytics are enabled) | Consent, via the cookie banner |
We don't sell your data. We do use a small number of trusted third-party tools to run the business, and your data passes through them as follows:
These providers act as data processors on our behalf and are contractually required to protect your data. Some are based outside the UK/EEA (for example, in the United States); where that's the case, they provide appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to protect your data in line with UK GDPR requirements for international transfers.
We will only share your data with anyone else if required by law, or with your explicit permission.
We don't run our own tracking or analytics cookies. The only cookies used on this site come from two third-party tools, and — other than a small piece of "necessary" browser storage described below — they're only loaded after you give consent via the cookie banner shown on your first visit.
| Cookie / storage | Set by | Purpose | When it's set |
|---|---|---|---|
| Consent choice | This website (praxiumperformance.com) | Remembers whether you chose "Accept all" or "Necessary only", so we don't ask again on every visit | Immediately — this is strictly necessary and doesn't require consent |
| Calendly booking cookies | Calendly | Powers the embedded booking calendar and popup scheduler | Only if you choose "Accept all" |
| Kit signup cookies | Kit (formerly ConvertKit) | Powers the embedded newsletter signup form | Only if you choose "Accept all" |
If you choose "Necessary only", neither Calendly's nor Kit's scripts load at all, and no cookies are set by them. You can still reach both features without cookies: the booking section shows a direct link to open the Calendly calendar in a new tab, and the newsletter section shows our email address to sign up manually.
You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the site footer, which reopens the banner. See Calendly's and Kit's own privacy policies for details of exactly what they collect once loaded.
If we add analytics tools in future (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the site, we will add them to the table above and to the cookie banner's choices, so nothing non-essential is ever set without consent.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, email coachsolofit@gmail.com. We'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your data, including relying on reputable third-party platforms (Calendly, Kit, Trainerize) that maintain their own security standards, and limiting access to your data to what's needed to coach you.
Our coaching services and website are intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we'll delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time — for example, as we add new tools to the site (such as analytics or payment processing). The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent version. We'd encourage you to check back occasionally.
